Information we collect

Connected site information
When you connect a WordPress site, CortexWP AI may process connected site metadata, domain details, plugin and theme state, WordPress configuration, file paths, selected file contents, logs, command results, database query outputs, DNS-related information, connector status, SFTP or connector details, tool outputs, and other technical context needed to provide the service.
Chat and pasted content
We store and process chat messages, prompts, pasted content, uploaded or provided text, assistant responses, approval decisions, and tool results so CortexWP AI can provide continuity, support your account, troubleshoot issues, and maintain an auditable history of requested work.
How we use information
We use information to operate CortexWP AI, authenticate users, manage subscriptions, deliver connected-site assistance, inspect and troubleshoot WordPress sites when requested, generate responses, request approvals, perform approved actions, provide support, improve reliability, prevent abuse, secure the service, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
AI training
We do not use customer content, connected site data, chat messages, logs, pasted content, credentials, or tool outputs to train AI models. If this changes, we will update this policy and request any consent required by applicable law.
Credentials and access
Credentials, connector keys, and access details should only be provided for sites you own, administer, or are authorized to manage. We use those access details to provide requested service functionality, including site inspection and approved operations. You may revoke credentials or connector access from your hosting provider, WordPress site, or account settings where available.
Service providers
We use third-party service providers to operate CortexWP AI, including infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, AI processing, analytics, monitoring, email, security, and support-related services. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us and are expected to protect information according to applicable obligations.
Payment information
Payments and subscriptions are processed through payment service providers. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers on our own systems. We may receive billing status, subscription identifiers, plan information, invoice information, and payment-related metadata.
Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, secure the service, comply with legal obligations, and maintain backups. You may request deletion of customer data associated with your account by contacting support@cortexwp.ai. We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for a connected operations product. However, no internet service, AI service, hosting environment, or WordPress integration can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using strong account security practices and limiting access to authorized systems.

Your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other locations where we or our service providers operate. By using CortexWP AI, you understand that information may be processed outside your province, state, or country.
Your choices
You may update account information, cancel subscriptions where available, revoke connected-site access, request support, or request deletion of customer data by contacting us. Some requests may be limited by security, legal, billing, or operational requirements.
